Writer's Block: Forgive and forget?
Has someone you loved and respected ever done something you consider despicable? If so, how did you deal with it? Did you try to forgive them? Did it permanently change your feelings for them?

Yes, in fact, a few days ago,. If it is that despicable, I try to get in the person's head and find out why that kind of display of hurtful behavior, if possible. Especially someone who has always been close and shown you love and respect.  I 'm dealing with it by forgiving and an attempt to understand. Once  I get a legitimate, rational explanation, it would not shake my feelings. If it happens again and again, then yes it would affect the relationship. I'm liberal enough to forgive and try to forget.

Writer's Block: Daydream believer
If you could choose to control your dreams, would you? If so, what would you dream about?

If i could CONTROL my dreams I  certainly would. Those recurring  dreams I have about flying(WITHOUT A PLANE)
If  just once I could control it so I  could touch down on runway 7 at KENNEDY AIRPORT  WITHOUT CRASH LAND INTO A BUILDING.

Writer's Block: Prone to puns
How would you describe your sense of humor in six words or less?

Witty, satirical, sometimes stupid, side splitting, and what did he just say?

Writer's Block: The Worst Job
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? If you could go back today and say anything to the management at that job, what do you think would come out of your mouth?

The worst job I had was   a summer job  on college break, an elevator operator,  up and down, up and down- all shifts all day. all night---- booooooooooring., monotonous. If I could go back, what would I say? What's the stock phrase: i know this job has its ups and downs, but you know you can take this job and SHOVE IT!!!!!

"This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man"
                   POLONIUS--- "HAMLET
True to ourselves-  Other forces in life can never  determine  who we really are.. Being  a unique creation, and being true to that uniqueness can never be defined by another person, a job or a possession. So many of us seem to define our worth by our job, our bank accounts and even our associations with others. True to ourselves is the essence of inner and spiritual self-worth. Who we are springs purely from our soul and manifests itself in our actions. Self-awareness is our truth. We can never discern the truth by living a lie or a misrepresentation of our basic nature. This quest for the truth is a difficult one since it is a journey of self-discovery. This means, without compromise, confront our weaknesses, recognize our strengths and be open to change. Having done this we can't be false to anyone This honesty dispels fear and in this process tempers our egos and the desire to seek the approval of others. "The truth shall set you free" is more than an overused adage. It is the philosophy of  self -awareness and ultimately making our bond to each other infinitely stronger.

Writer's Block: My Dream Job
What's your dream job? Are you qualified for it? If not, would that stop you from taking it if it were offered to you?

Writer, definitely   a writer/musician.

"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas."
                                                                                      ROD SERLING
Serling's  scope of the written word went beyond convention. An imagination as limitless as the space-time continuum. Yet at its core, he dealt with the frailties of the human condition. Understanding that we do not need to be conquered by outer space alien fire power to be destroyed. As"THE MONSTERS OF MAPLE STREET" succinctly puts it,  mankind's undoing is his own mistrust of his fellowman.

Writer's Block: A rose by any other name
Do you like your birth name? If you had the opportunity to change it, would you? What new name would you choose?

YES,  I would change it from JAHOSAPHAT TO  SPIRO AGNEW

Writer's Block: Say cheese
Do you generally like or hate when people take photos of you? Do you feel anxious when friends post pictures of you online? Is your first inclination to link to them or hide them?

apollo  Yes, I'm not photogenic. Whatever the angle of the dangle camera shot they take, it always comes out unsatisfactory to me. NOBODY, not even close friends, have the right to post your picture online,WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. The internet has a lot of weird stuff going on. If you're personals are going to go on the internet, it should be firstly with your consent and secondly, with a consideration for  security and safety.

Writer's Block: TMI
If you had the opportunity to know everything about the person you love, would you take it? Or would you avoid the possibility of getting hurt?

apollo  Know as much about the person as you can. If you can't be totally honest with each other, then it's not a solid relationship. The possibility of getting hurt is part of the risk of being together. The understanding is that no one  is perfect so if you can't deal with the other mates imperfections or history, then maybe it's not a solid love thing.
Sounds like a freak'in   Dear ABBY column.
